For internships abroad contact JoAnn Bennett ((937) 327-6185), director of International Education. Internships provide an invaluable academic and applied dimension to a college education. These programs allow students to earn credit and gain valuable experiences at the same time. Students should also contact the faculty internship coordinator for their respective major/minor.
INTERNSHIP A required internship is the capstone experience of Wittenberg's semester program in Wittenberg, Germany. Accompanied by a Wittenberg instructor, students reside in the Colleg Wittenberg in the heart of the city. They earn 18 credits while taking intensive German, a course in International Studies, and one additional general education class. In the latter part of the semester, students complete an internship and gain practical work experience to help prepare for a career in today's global economy. No language prerequisite but a semester or two of German is helpful. Open to students in any major.
