When you apply for federal student aid, the information you report is used in a formula that calculates your "EFC." If your EFC is below a certain amount, you may be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. In addition to the Pell Grant, your EFC helps determine your eligibility for Wittenberg grants, endowed scholarships, work awards, and subsidized student loan programs.
Applying for Need-Based Financial Aid
Students applying for financial assistance based upon demonstrated need must:
1) Submit an Application for Admission. Though you must be an accepted student to receive a financial aid award, you may begin the financial aid process before an admission decision has been reached.
2) Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to list Wittenberg University, Title IV Code 003143, as a recipient.
Net Price Calculator
This calculator is designed to give your family an estimate of how much financial assistance you may be eligible to receive. The calculation is based on the costs and actual awards made to students in the 2016-2017 academic year. All information submitted is confidential and will not be recorded or used by Wittenberg in any way.
