Application Deadline Nearing For Bullock Math Academy
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Bullock Math Academy, a new initiative at Wittenberg University sponsored by local philanthropist Rosalyn Bullock, is currently accepting applications from sixth grade students attending schools in Clark County. Friday, May 9 is the deadline for application into the free program.
Students join the academy in seventh grade and stay with the academy through high school and beyond. Upon graduating from high school and the academy, students are eligible to receive a one-time college scholarship.
Thanks to a generous investment by Springfield philanthropist Rosalyn Bullock, the Bullock Math Academy provides sought-after enrichment opportunities for local students who demonstrate a high aptitude in math, including a week long residential summer institute, sponsored math competitions for area middle schools and high schools, monthly programs for academy participants and community events with a focus on math and math education.
