The Economist's Kenneth Cukier '91 Explains How Data Will Transform How We Live And Think

A sought-after speaker and best-selling author, Kenneth Cukier '91 has an endless curiosity that is helping the world better understand itself. His 2013 book, Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think with Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, was a New York Times bestseller. Three years later, it has been translated into 20 languages, while total views of his TED talk on the topic now stand at more than 1 million.

A political science major and economics minor, Cukier was recently awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters at the university's 166th Commencement Exercises on May 14, 2016.
