On Thursday, August 18 you will have ample time to move into your residence hall, get situated on campus, attend optional educational programs, and take care of university business. Student's meal plans will be active for lunch in the Student Center Dining Room (CDR) and parents/familiy members will be available to to purchase lunch in the CDR on August 18. When you check in, a list of local food options will be available in the Residence Hall lobbies or at the Info Hub.
A meal plan fee will be charged to incoming students (including commuters and transfers). This fee will appear on all incoming students' fall semester billing statement for $60 with the description “Meals – New Student Days." All incoming students will be provided the following meals in the CDR during New Student Days:
Thursday, August 18: Lunch is included in the student's meal plan in the CDR and is available to parents/families for purchase; a listing of nearby eateries will also be available in the Residence Hall Lobbies or at the Info Hub. Dinner
Friday, August 19: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Saturday, August 20: brunch and dinner
Sunday, August 21: brunch and dinner
Students must show university ID for admittance to the Student Center Dining Room (CDR) for meals. Students who submit their ID pictures over the summer will be able to pick up their ID when they arrive on campus August 18 or before. Students who do not submit their ID photos in the summer must finish this process by Friday, August 19 after arriving on campus. All students will use ID cards (or a temporary card will be made available, if needed) for meals beginning on Thursday, August 18.
