Club Sports and Recreation student organizations at Wittenberg University provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. Since students develop and organize their own organizations, they have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop their leadership and decision making skills. Students organize each club or organization under the direction of the Office of Student Involvement.
Club Sport and Recreation organizations are classified as competitive, instructional, recreational, or a combination.
Competitive organizations play a competitive schedule against other universities and/or organizations.
Instructional organizations exist to create interest in a sport or recreation activity and serve the purpose of teaching members the rules and skills of the game.
Recreational organizations encourage continued participation in a sport or activity by eligible participants.
