Nomination for Awards for Distinction

To nominate a fellow alumnus/a, faculty member or honorary alumnus, complete the information below including an explanation of why your nominee is deserving of the award. An Awards Committee will select nominees to be presented during Alumni Weekend at the traditional Brunch and Awards Presentation.

Please provide as much of the following information as possible and submit by December 31. (Please note that nominations are permanent and will continue to be considered beyond the year they are submitted.)

Distinguished Teaching
Superior classroom teaching. Five years of full-time teaching required.

G.O.L.D Young Alumni
Grad of the last decade that has shared time and talent with the university.

Outstanding Young Alumnus
Grad of the last decade that has demonstrated outstanding achievement in their profession.

The Class of 1914
Most prestigious recognition. Selected from alumni, faculty and staff who have served Wittenberg above and beyond.

The Wittenberg Alumni Citation
Awarded to alumni on the basis of exceptional personal or professional accomplishment that has brought honor to Wittenberg by their dedication to the ideals of the university.

Honorary Alumnus/a
Non-alumnus/a that has served the institution and worked to sustain it in an exemplary manner.
