Recognizing the value of athletics to Wittenberg University and the American way of life, the Wittenberg University Athletics Hall of Honor was established to perpetuate the memory of those individuals who have made lasting and significant contributions to the institution's intercollegiate athletic programs.
Any individual of good character who has given outstanding performance in athletic competition at Wittenberg shall be eligible for nomination 10 years after the graduation of his or her class. Persons who have not qualified for a degree, but who left the university in good standing, may be nominated. Nominees may also include coaches, managers, trainers and other persons who have made outstanding contributions to intercollegiate athletics at Wittenberg. An individual may be nominated posthumously.
The Athletics Hall of Honor committee selects nominees at its regular meetings, and each year's selections are presented at Homecoming.
Please provide as much of the following information as possible. Please note that your nomination is permanent and will continue to be considered beyond the year it was submitted.
