Applying for a Card

Print out the Community Patron Application Form

Members of the local community, including Wittenberg graduates, may apply for a Thomas Library Community Patron card. Applicants must have:

  • a reference
  • AND must present a driver's license
  • AND local library card

when applying. Children may be listed as borrowers on a parent's library card. A Thomas Library card is valid for one year from the date of application.

Borrowing Privileges

Community borrowers may not make use of the OhioLINK borrowing system, nor may they borrow books from the Leisure Collection. Community patrons are restricted to borrowing a total of 10 items and are allowed to borrow only 5 books from the CRC collection.

Library Fines

Overdue notices will be sent to the address on file for a community patron and fines of $.05 per day will be assessed for regular stack books and $.10 per day is the fee for overdue CRC materials. A lost or damaged Thomas Library book will carry a replacement cost of $50.00 per item in keeping with the costs required of other borrowers.
