About the Parents Association
Throughout its distinguished history, Wittenberg has actively engaged parents in the life of the university through its Parents Association. All current parents are automatically members of the association, which plays a critical role in ensuring that the university continues to provide the high-quality education it has for generations.
From volunteering at college fairs in or near their hometowns, to serving as ambassadors for the university at local events, to offering their time and talent in capacities that benefit the campus life experience, opportunities to serve abound.
The Parents Fund
An opportunity to help Wittenberg students ENGAGE, EXPLORE and EXCEL with the help of The Parents Fund, Wittenberg provides a unique learning experience for our students, especially our freshmen as they adjust to college life. Please consider a gift of any amount to The Parents Fund. Your gift will have an immediate impact on the experience of your student, as well as all Wittenberg students.
The Parents Fund is a vital part of the Wittenberg Fund which provides scholarship assistance, ensures a variety of innovative learning opportunities, and help us maintain our beautiful campus. Because tuition accounts for only 51 percent of the actual expenses per student, your annual support helps provide the margin of excellence we have been providing students since 1845.
If you have any questions or would like to speak to someone regarding The Parents Fund, please contact Sophia Vandiford at 937-327-6365.
Parents Leadership Circle
The Parents Leadership Circle (PLC) was designed to provide parents with additional avenues for engagement with the university where they can significantly impact the educational experience of their sons and daughters. The PLC is also the university's top parent-driven fundraising program.
Gifts to the PLC allow Wittenberg to continue to attract the best and the brightest in nation and around the globe. Since its founding in 2007, the Parents Leadership Circle has raised more than $700,000 for scholarships and related programs. Thanks to parents' support and corporate matching gifts, the monies raised resulted in more students choosing Wittenberg because of the university's ability to offer generous financial aid packages.
