Sunday, August 18thSunday, August 18thAmerica/New_YorkWITT ConnectedThe William A. McClain Center for Diversity offers a pre-Welcome Week experience for incoming first-year students called WITT Connected. Our dates for 2024 are August 18-22. WITT Connected is a 4-day overnight program meant for traditionally marginalized groups (race/ethnicity, LGBTQIA+, first-gen) created to provide a supportive network of friends, faculty, and staff to make the transition into Wittenberg as smooth as possible. During WITT Connected, students will engage in many activities around self-discovery, relationship & community building, exploring campus resources a little more in depth, and gaining a better understanding of Wittenberg, Springfield, and surrounding areas. The fall 2024 dates for this opportunity will be Sunday, August 18 to Wednesday, August 21 and will lead directly into Welcome Week events that begin on Thursday, August 22 for the entire first year class. Students participating in WITT Connected are required to attend scheduled activities in both WITT Connected and Welcome Week. Learn More & RegisterWilliam McClain Center for Diversity
