Remote Learning During Quarantine or Isolation Periods
When a student is required by the University to quarantine or isolate due to COVID-19, they are approved to participate in classes remotely. The remote learning period begins at the time of the order and goes through their last day of quarantine or isolation. Students must communicate with their individual professors to arrange remote participation. While faculty receive notice from COMPASS: Sweet Success Center granting approval for individual to participate in classes remotely, it is the student’s responsibility to communicate with each professor. Upon completion of the quarantine or isolation period, students are expected to return to the regular structure and participation of their classes.
In all other situations, student must adhere to the attendance policies outline in the academic catalog and/or listed in class syllabi.
Students who might be in need of accommodations due to the impact of COVID-19, or who would like to discuss potential learning or living accommodations, should contact Accessibility Services via email. Students can also submit a request for accommodations via the form found here or access more detailed information on the Accessibility Services webpage.
