Wittenberg Community,
We want to thank everyone who participated in our recent COVID testing events. Our employee testing event on January 11th yielded 336 results, 13 of which were positive. Our back-to-back student testing events on Saturday and Sunday, January 15-16, yielded 688 results, 55 of which were positive.
HR notified those employees who tested positive last week and is continuing to answer inquiries. The Office of Student Development initiated the notification process yesterday, and the contact tracing team completed its process, as well.
This is a critical time in our campus community, which is why it is imperative that all members of our community wear their masks properly, meaning that it fully covers the nose and mouth. Even the best mask not worn correctly is the same as not wearing a mask at all. Please be mindful of others in our community and wear your mask correctly.
