The COVID Response Team has been discussing the local vaccine rollout in partnership with the Clark County Combined Health District (CCCHD).
The CCCHD has emerged as a leader in vaccinating our community, which has made the agency a highly credible vaccine supplier in the state’s eyes. As a result, the CCCHD will have 1,000 doses available tomorrow, Thursday, March 4, for those age 60 and over or with a qualifying medical condition. To check for eligibility, please visit the CCCHD website. If you are eligible or have family/friends who are, this would be a good opportunity for you or them to get vaccinated.
To schedule a vaccination, please call the CCCHD at 937-717-2439 or visit the agency’s above website and click the appropriate links. As per the CCCHD, the vaccination link will take you to the agency's AmorVax scheduling system. You will have to download the app. You will then be given a one-time code texted or emailed each time you log into the AmorVax system. Where it asks about insurance, be sure to check NO INSURANCE.
We also strongly recommend that you educate yourself on the importance of getting vaccinated to stop the spread of COVID-19. To learn more on the myths versus facts of the vaccine from the Ohio Department of Health, click here.
