Nathan and Maureen Zink Delaney ’05 announce the birth of their son, Charles Steven, in June 2018. Nathan is a metal trader for Ferrous Processing & Trading, while Maureen recently made partner at her law firm Carlisle, McNellie & Co. They reside in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Karl Schmitt was a recipient of the 2018 Faculty Mentor Award of the Council on Undergraduate Research’s Mathematics and Computer Sciences Division. An assistant professor and director of data sciences at Valparaiso University, he was recognized for outstanding mentoring of undergraduate researchers in math and computer science.

Lindsay Konkel studied ongoing research projects such as radio tracking, cheetah conservation, and ecosystem management, as well as the design of school and community programs, in Namibia. A fourth-grade math and science teacher at Mason Elementary School, she is a graduate student in Miami University’s Advanced Inquiry Program and lives in Lebanon, Ohio.
