I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I received my B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). I attended Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale, Illinois to work on my M.F.A. (Master of Fine Arts) in Sculpture and received my M.A.in Art Education from the University of Cincinnati. I also attended the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, California to study drawing. I have been teaching at Wittenberg since 1976.

My creative interests are in drawing, painting and sculpture. The Dayton Art Institute owns one of my prints, and I have sculpture in both public (Columbus Metropolitan Public Library The City of Centerville, Ohio, Bluffton College, Wittenberg University, Rockdale Temple, Cincinnati, Ohio) and many private collections.
