Wittenberg’s Recruitment and Fundraising Materials Earn Distinction

Partnership with E&Aco leads to six Hermes Creative Awards

In an effort to elevate the University’s story, Wittenberg recently partnered with the Baltimore, Maryland-based marketing firm E&Aco, the outcomes of which have since garnered the company six 2021 Hermes Creative Awards.

Receiving platinum in this year’s competition were the Admission Recruitment publications package, the Having Light: The Campaign for Wittenberg University integrated marketing campaign materials, the campaign case statement, and the campaign microsite at havinglight.wittenberg.edu. Claiming gold were the Admission Recruitment viewbook and the Having Light: The Campaign for Wittenberg University logo.

According to its website, the Hermes Creative Awards honors the messengers and creators of the information revolution. Armed with their imaginations and computers, Hermes winners bring their ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms, and, each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs.

Hermes

Hermes categories are divided into print media, public relations/communications, and electronic/social/interactive media. The Hermes competition is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, established in 1995 and one of the largest and oldest third-party evaluators of creative work in the world.

With the goal of serving mission-driven educational institutions and nonprofit organizations with intelligent strategy, precise messaging, and stellar creative that builds and strengthens brands, E&Aco was founded by Edit Barry and Allison Le in 2017.

“Thank you, Wittenberg,” Barry said, “for entrusting us with these projects and empowering us to go for greatness.”
