The 1914 Award
This Wittenberg's most prestigious recognition, this award honors an individual(s) from our community of alumni, faculty and staff who has served Wittenberg above and beyond what might be expected of any contributor to the college's welfare.
The Alumni Citation
This recognition honors those who have brought honor to Wittenberg by their continued dedication to the ideals for which the university stands. Any alumnus/a shall be eligible for the citation on the basis of exceptional personal or professional accomplishment.
The Outstanding Young Alumni Award
This award was created to recognize outstanding achievement of young alumni in their profession, vocation or avocation, which exemplifies the liberal arts tradition of Wittenberg. It is awarded to alumni who have graduated in the past 15 years.
G.O.L.D. Alumni Service Award
This recognition honors graduates of the last decade (G.O.L.D) who have generously shared their time and talent in service to the university.
The Honorary Alumna/us Award
This status is bestowed upon those who have demonstrated a loyalty and devotion to Wittenberg that is exemplary to alumni, and to those who have long and well served the institution and have worked diligently to sustain it.
The Distinguished Teaching Award
Wishing to recognize the superior classroom teaching that takes place at Wittenberg, the Alumni Association established this award in 1960. The faculty recipient must have completed five years of service at Wittenberg and be a full-time teacher at the time of selection. Selection is based on current performance.
