PCMV Mission:
The President’s Council on Mission and Values seeks to strengthen Wittenberg’s commitment to its mission and values by providing a platform for council representatives to identify needs and challenges to executing commitment to mission and values. The council will serve as an advisory body provide input to the Office of the President and formulate coordinated actions and initiatives to address topics related to our mission and values within all areas of the campus community.
Charge
- Formulate a strategic vision for executing Wittenberg mission and values, with particular attention to social responsibility, intellectual inquiry, wholeness of person, community of learners, ELCA Lutheran heritage, global citizenship, calling, and service.
- Determine and prioritize opportunities for improvement in executing our mission and values.
- Develop short- and long-term goals to support Wittenberg’s commitment to its mission and values.
- Serve as a source of oversight for the execution of Council mission, vision and goals.
- Engage the campus community in the creation and execution of plans focused on Wittenberg mission and values and the Wittenberg Way.
