COVID-19 Course For Deposited Students

A highly contagious virus. A world in quarantine. A global health crisis that turned our “normal” into the surreal over several weeks’ time. Join us as we analyze the pandemic through multiple perspectives in this FREE 2-credit course.

Known for its interdisciplinary, integrated, service-minded approach to education, Wittenberg will examine COVID-19 from a variety of disciplines, including biology, political science, philosophy, psychology, history, and nursing. Students will learn what caused this coronavirus, review the models that help us understand its spread, consider the political conversations that surround it, examine the social implications and ethics that accompany it, and discuss the precautions necessary to keep us safe from it.

This course is for incoming deposited students only and runs July 13 – August 4.
