Baccalaureate Weaver Chapel

2020-05-15 14:15:00 2020-05-15 14:15:00 America/New_York Baccalaureate One of the university's most beautiful buildings, Weaver Chapel, provides the setting for Wittenberg's Baccalaureate Service at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, May 11. The entire campus community, parents and friends are invited to attend this service. Planned by the university pastors and members of the senior class, the Baccalaureate Service lasts approximately an hour. Tickets are not required and graduates do not wear their academic regalia. Event Details All guests should be seated by 10:30 a.m. Exercises will take place in Commencement Hollow unless weather prevents it. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Center. Tickets are required for an indoor ceremony. The Myers Hall Bell will ring twice during the morning to signify that the program will take place outdoors. Either way, all graduates will have the opportunity to #StompTheSeal. New Student Move In Benham-Pence Student Center

Move-In for residential students will take place Thursday morning between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and orientation activities will take place all day. An Opening Ceremony will take place in Wittenberg 's HPERC Pam Evans Arena, and all families are invited to attend. Commuter students will meet at 11:30 a.m. in Shouvlin 105 where they will receive information needed for the first few days on campus; families are also encouraged to attend. Move-In Day kicks off a weekend filled with events and activities that will help new students become acclimated to campus. The links below provide important details.
