A leading voice on chronic invisible illness, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and quality-of-life issues for patients, Cathy Pederson is the resident expert on anatomy and physiology. She also founded Standing Up To POTS, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for POTS research and educating people in the medical profession and in the community about this disorder.
