In addition to teaching, Scott Rosenberg directs Wittenberg's Peace Corps Prep Program and holds the title of Honorary Consul to the South African Kingdom of Lesotho for his work helping Lesotho orphans. To date, his nonprofit, Lesotho Nutrition Initiative, has provided more than 4.5 million meals to the estimated 120,000 Lesotho orphans, an estimated 35 percent of who are under age five and suffer from severe malnutrition and stunting.
