First Day in Lesotho 2025

Today was the first full day in Lesotho! The bus ride was rough, but we started the day off strong with a nice little run. Then, we hung out with TTL (Touching Tiny Lives), which is a safe home organization that also does outreach. They brought us along to home visits where we handed out some LNI (Lesotho Nutrition Initiative) meals as well as had fun with the kids at their local preschools. The kids at the pre-school loved taking pictures and giving high fives! I cant wait to see what tomorrow brings. See you later!!!!!!!!

Hi Mom, Dad, Nova and Charlie!
Lumela from Lesotho, I'm super excited to be back in Lesotho for year two. Let me tell you that 8 hour bus drive from Jo'burg was something else, but we survived. This year we made the trek up the mountain to Mokhotlong. It was amazing seeing all of the different animals. And yes, Mom I was able to pet a dog this year. Mucho the little puppy lives in the El Paso Lodge. He and I have become friends surprise surprise. I was able to run today for a beautiful 2 miles. Don't worry, Dad, I am still getting my runs in. We went today to TTL to work with Touching Tiny Lives. I went with Maddy and Sofia on outreach in the village. We had a blast! I can say that the drive was quick and treachorous. We stopped at a preschool and unfortunately got peed on. On the way back we did stop and get fatcakes...YUMMMM. Sadly, no runaways. I can't wait to talk more to you guys and see Nova when I get home. I will see you soon. Love you guys to Pluto and back,
-Mack
