Matthies House

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelHonors Program members frequently gather at the Matthies House, the campus home of the University Honors Program named after Dr. Roland C. Matthies, Vice President and Treasurer Emeritus of Wittenberg University. He and Mrs. Maxine M. Matthies lived in the house for many years.

Tower Hall

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelLocated next to Firestine Hall and Chakeres Theatre, Tower Hall is the tallest building campus and provides quick access to the Health, Wellness & Athletics Complex and many of Wittenberg's academic and community buildings.

New Hall

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelOpened in 2006, New Hall is centrally located, in close proximity to Thomas Library, in addition to the student center. New Hall is co-ed and houses a Ubuntu Themed Living Community. Students enjoy the flexibility of various meeting spaces and room sizes, the connectedness of the community, and convenience in an air-conditioned space.

Shouvlin Center

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelBuilt in 1977, the building was named after Joseph C. Shouvlin, who was a former president of the Baur Brothers Company (a manufacturing company) in Springfield. He worked with President Stoughton to create a center not only for student's academic success, but also for adult success in the workplace.

Benham-Pence Student Center

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelThe Benham-Pence Student Center is located along Alumni Way, next to New Residence Hall, at the corner of Ward Street and Fountain Avenue. The student center is attached to the Joseph P. Shouvlin Center for Lifelong Learning, and both are served by a large parking lot with convenient access on to Ward Street.

Alumni Way

Map to Wittenberg's Weaver ChapelDedicated during Homecoming 2004, the brick plaza includes engraved bricks bearing the names of alumni, faculty and friends of Wittenberg selected each year for this honor. A platform stage and dining area offer students a venue for concerts and gatherings.
