Fall Recruitment 2019

September 2-15: Fraternity spring recruitment
REGISTER ONLINE HERE - registration will open in July.
Contact Tony LeBarge (lebargea@wittenberg.edu) for more information. Students must have at least 16 earned credits and a 2.50 cumulative GPA to be eligible; first-semester, first-year students are not eligible to join in the fall semester.

Monday, September 2- Saturday, September 7: Casual events. Fraternities will host casual events, open to prospective members. Event information will be posted around campus and on fraternity social media accounts.

Sunday, September 8- Saturday, September 14: Formal events. No more than two fraternities will host an event each night (each fraternity will host 2 during the week). Some events are open and others are by invitation. Event information will be posted online here (when it is available), around campus and on fraternity social media accounts.

Sunday, September 15: Fraternity bid day. Students who are offered bids will be contacted via email on Saturday, September 14. Bids will be distributed in Ness Auditorium (Hollenbeck Hall).

September 2-15: Sorority Informal Recruitment

Only sororities that are under Total (the maximum number of members for each sorority) are eligible to accept new members during fall semester. Sorority event information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Greek Week 2019

The Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils will host Greek Week in fall 2019. Events are open to all of campus! Fraternity and sorority chapters will participate in various activities as teams, earning points throughout the week. Past events have included a can-construction competition with all canned goods donated to the local Second Harvest Food Bank, showing Witt spirit at home athletic matches, Broomball at the local Chiller ice arena, and Olympic-style Greek Games. The week will conclude with a Lip Sync competition where the winning team will be announced.

Greek Week 2019 will take place October 28-November 2; event details will be updated as events are confirmed.

Spring Recruitment 2020

January 13-26, 2020: Fraternity spring recruitment (for Beta Theta Pi, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Tau Delta, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Phi Kappa Psi)

January 18, 2020: Sorority spring recruitment kickoff (for Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Delta and Sigma Kappa)

Saturday, January 18, 2020: Recruitment Kickoff and House Tours (not required to attend, but strongly recommended)

Meet at 2:00 p.m.; location to be announced. Tours will take place in rotations and will end around 6pm. Dress is casual (jeans are ok).

January 16-19, 2020: Women's Formal Sorority Formal Recruitment

Greek 101 for new members

All new members of sororities and fraternities are expected to attend one of two scheduled in-person session of Greek 101 in addition to completing an online course through Moodle.

Fall 2019 Greek 101 sessions will be scheduled in mid/late September and early October.
