One Love GraphicThe One Love Foundation is a national non-profit organization with the goal of ending relationship abuse. Understanding the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships before they become abuse is critical to changing the statistics around relationship abuse over time.

  • More than 1 in 3 women will be in abusive relationship in their lifetimes
  • 40% of Black women will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes
  • 1 in 2 trans or nonbinary people will be in an abusive relationship in their lifetime
  • Nearly 1 in 3 men will be in abusive relationship in their lifetimes
  • 51% of Indigenous women have experiences physical violence by an intimate partner in the U.S.
  • 3 women a day are killed by their partners in the U.S.

One Love workshops are rooted in a film-based discussion that meets students where they are and brings crucial information to them in a compelling format. With students and educators from their own community facilitating, they are able to bring healthy relationships to young people in the most relatable way.

10 Signs Workshop

The 10 Signs Workshop is a film-based experience that explores the fundamentals of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors. After watching the film, students participate in activities that help reinforce learnings around the 10 Signs of a Healthy and Unhealthy Relationship.

Because I Love You – Delete

This series is focused on how the phrase “Because I love you,” can be very manipulating in an abusive relationship.

Because I Love You – Deflecting Responsibility

20-60 Minutes

This short film focuses on how the phrase “Because I love you” can be a tool for deflecting responsibility, as well as the role that alcohol often plays as an excuse for unhealthy or abusive behaviors.

Love Labyrinth

40-60 Minutes

This powerful video focuses on how feeling trapped in the Love labyrinth is a very real and very frightening symptom of relationship abuse. Even the tiniest of behaviors from your partner can impact your self-esteem, independence and ability to recognize the relationship you deserve.

Escalation Workshop

90 minutes or Multiple Sessions

The Escalation workshop is a film-based experience that educates about the warning signs of an abusive relationship. Escalation provides young people with the framework they need to identify the warning signs and the tools to help a friend who may be in an abusive situation.

Amor del Bueno

50 Minutes or Multiple Sessions

The film, which features our 10 signs, follows the story of a Latinx high school couple and shows how unhealthy behaviors can be normalized in a relationship. Themes of this session are healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, bystander intervention and consent versus coercion.

The Halls 2

50-75 Minutes

This is one part of a three-part series that focuses on two high school relationships, one healthy and one unhealthy, as well as several other interwoven stories that represent a diverse array of racial, cultural, and sexual identities.

The Ghost Club

Varies, 45-90 minutes

This is a three-episode series that focuses on the way that healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors show up in our friendships, romantic relationships, and sibling relationships. Each of the characters show both healthy and unhealthy behaviors as they navigate the everyday, normalized, yet complex dynamics in different types of relationships.
