Scholarly vs. Popular Articles

Journals the Library Has
If you know which journal you want (maybe you have the citation of an article you want to read), you can search Wittenberg's periodical titles (electronic and print formats).
If you need an article from a journal that Wittenberg does not have, you may request a copy of it from another library using Interlibrary Loan.

The following databases are good places to find information for your project. Occasionally only the citations are available, so you may have to use InterLibrary Loan to get a copy of the full article.

Business Source Complete
 

Searches scholarly and trade publications for topics pertaining to business and industry. This database is owned by EBSCO so you can search multiple EBSCO databases concurrently by click the Choose Databases link above the search box.

Business Abstracts with Full Text
 

Searches scholarly and trade publications for topics pertaining to business and industry. This database is owned by EBSCO so you can search multiple EBSCO databases concurrently by click the Choose Databases link above the search box.

Social Science Citation Index
 

Social sciences include disciplines having to do with society and relationships like management, sociology, psychology, political science, economics, and history. This database includes citations and some full text articles concerning the social sciences. You may need to place an interlibrary loan request for articles from this database.

CITING SOURCES

APA Style - Use the menu on the left to locate tips on creating a Reference List or for help citing quotations or paraphrasing In-Text. From the Purdue Online Writing Lab (a website very well known and respected for it's online writing resources).

You must cite web pages just as you must cite books and articles. For help citing webpages and other resources, take a look at Guides for Documenting Sources or contact the Writing Center.
