Darin Keesing, Assistant Professor of Theatre, teaches courses in scenic, lighting, and costume design; stage management; and stagecraft. Over the last two decades Keesing has designed scenery or lighting for over 150 productions in Chicago, Columbus, Indiana, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. Favorite productions include Falsettos and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Available Light Theatre), the Ohio premiere of Fun Home (CATCO), and the world premieres of Whitman and Undone (About Face Theatre).

Keesing has also been the Lighting Director for The State Theatre (State College, PA), Master Electrician for the renowned Peterborough Players (Peterborough, New Hampshire), and served on production crew for programs such as “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Prior to joining Wittenberg, he taught lighting design at Illinois-Wesleyan University and The National High School Institute. Keesing holds an MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University and a BFA in Lighting Design from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
