Talkspace is an online therapy service that connects users to a dedicated, licensed therapist via private messaging and live video from a secure, HIPAA-compliant digital platform.

Utilizing a network of thousands of licensed clinicians, Talkspace is an online therapy service that connects users to a dedicated therapist from a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Registered users can send text, voice or video messages to their therapist —anytime, anywhere— including from the comfort of home.

Wittenberg University employees and students will have access to Talkspace online messaging therapy at no cost beginning today, January 13. Users also have the option to receive one 30-minute live video session with their Talkspace therapist, each month. There is no open enrollment period, and registration is open year-round. Talkspace communication is confidential and secure. No one at the University will know who uses the service or for what purpose.
