Student Complaint System

Wittenberg University maintains a systemic approach to student complaints. Various types of student grievances, complaints, and appeals are handled by multiple processes and departments.

  • Academic Appeals: Click here for student academic appeals, related to: General Academic Policies, General Education Designations, Course Grades and Board of Academic Standards Decisions.
  •  Campus Incidents:  Click here for reporting incidents on campus. Examples could include: Non-Academic Violations, Sexual Misconduct, Concerning Behavior and Bias Incidents.
  • ODHE: Click here for making a complaint to the Ohio Department of Higher Education
  • HLC: Click here for making a complaint to the accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission

Once this form is submitted, an automatic email is generated to the Student Complaint Panel. A member of the Panel will review your complaint and follow-up with you for resolution.
