Associate Professor of Physics and Department Chair
Dusty Plasma Physics
Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center 311
Dr. Williams is an experimental physicist with research interests in the area of complex (dusty) plasma physics. His current research interests lie in understanding the transport and the thermal properties of a weakly-coupled dusty plasma. In addition, he has had a long running interest in physics education research. He received a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Dickinson College, an M.S. in physics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in physics from Auburn University. He joined the Wittenberg faculty in 2007.
