Established in the 1970s, Wittenberg University's East Asian Studies Journal is an academic organization made up of East Asian Studies undergraduate students who work as editors on submitted academic articles regarding all topics on East Asia.
Every year the Journal is published and then sent out to universities across America and the world. All undergraduate and recent undergraduate students are allowed and encouraged to submit works of research, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, artwork, and other East Asian related materials to the journal. Our group of readers evaluates each piece for cultural relevance and appropriateness for the journal. Readers may be anyone with particular interests in editing, publishing, or East Asian Studies, but the author of the work may not read his/her own submission. When the pieces have been selected, our editors review the work thoroughly, working with the author before the publication is finalized.
