Dawn Stutz serves as the Associate Director for Community Partnerships and Outreach in the Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Civic and Urban Engagement at Wittenberg University.

In this role, she leads the Hagen Center’s vision and strategy for fostering meaningful, impactful, and mutually beneficial community engagement throughout the Greater Springfield region and beyond. She also oversees the development and sharing of the Hagen Center’s stories, highlighting the experiences, partnerships, and outcomes that define its work.

Dawn joins Wittenberg after nearly 25 years with the Habitat for Humanity mission, where she built a career dedicated to affordable housing, community development, and nonprofit leadership. She began her service with Clark County Community Habitat for Humanity as Volunteer Coordinator and Construction Manager then served the greater Cincinnati region as Vice President of Operations. She later joined the Compliance Solutions Team at Habitat for Humanity International, further expanding her expertise in nonprofit operations and organizational support.

Dawn brings her passion for service and extensive non-profit experience to the Hagen Center team, where she is focused on building and sustaining meaningful community partnerships that enrich the student experience while strengthening connections between Wittenberg University and the Springfield community.
