Cami is a practicing registered nurse in a local emergency department. The majority of her experience is in emergency nursing, building upon her experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Cami received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing education from Chamberlain University. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse.
Cami and her husband have seven children, who keep them very busy. The oldest are grown and have started their independent lives, while the youngest is just starting preschool this year. In her free time, Cami enjoys reading, music, theatre, playing board or video games, and is a horror media aficionado.
Cami is excited to begin her Academic journey with Wittenberg. She is passionate about experiential education and believes practice is the best teacher. Cami maintains that nursing education should emphasize compassion, interpersonal communication, and critical thinking skills.
