Kristina O’Meara is a Professor of Practice in the Nursing Department. She is excited to be a part of supporting Wittenberg nursing students in their journey. O’Meara started her nursing career in 1996. O’Meara has enjoyed a career in medical-surgical nursing, advanced practice cardiac nursing, interdiscplinary hospice education, and undergraduate nursing education.
O’Meara graduated from the University of Lynchburg with her BSN and East Tennessee State University with her MSN and Nurse Practitioner certification. She is excited to be completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2024.
O’Meara is originally from Virginia and moved with her husband and three beautiful children to Ohio in 2021. O’Meara and her family stay busy participating in a variety of sports, aerial silks, dance, and biking Ohio trails.
