Accounting Club

Wittenberg University's Accounting Club is an organization created for the purpose of providing real world accounting experience through workshops, accounting shows, and guest speakers.

Accounting Club is a new and emerging club on campus that is open to all students. We encourage those interested in accounting or any business major to join the club, as it is also a great way to receive help from upperclassmen and classmates. Last semester our Accounting Club Advisor, Professor Lindsey Meermans, helped us start a volunteer program at Springfield High School through an online website called Bank-It. Students went into the high school weekly and presented a workshop to a Career Readiness Class. These workshops consisted of how to spend, save, interview, build a resume, buy a car, and much more. Accounting Club also hosted a Resume Building Workshop last semester with the help of Meredith Level. This workshop was very beneficial because Meredith helped each one of us build and improve our resumes. Workshops like these are a big part of what Accounting Club will offer. We are hoping to further expand this club in the upcoming semester and will be offering opportunities for leadership positions. We would love to have you join our club!
