Krieg Hall was built in 1967 and is located on the south end of Wittenberg's campus on Woodlawn Avenue, across from the Benham-Pence Student Center and adjacent to a parking lot with ample space for visitors who are attending concerts or participating in classes and recitals.
Students can participate in a wide range of musical groups at Wittenberg, such as choir, symphonic band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and chamber orchestra. Krieg Hall is home to the John M. Chowning Laboratory for Music and Technology, which currently offers six MIDI stations, each with a computer containing up-to-date software and a keyboard music synthesizer.
Krieg Hall hosts numerous musical events each year, including student and faculty recitals, and performances by local community members.
