August Discovering Music Class for Children age 12 months to 6 years
Join us for an exciting session where we engage with our children to enhance their early development of steady beat, beginning rhythm, pitch differentiation, and music appreciation.

Our theme this year will be "Let's Play Outside!" Children will explore music related to the seasons and weather. We will use beginning musical instruments to create sounds and rhythms. We will use parachutes, rhythm ribbons, and bouncing balls to truly "feel" the music!

Each unit will be connected to literacy with a story book, and children will also be able to see and connect with performances from American music history icons like Louis Armstrong, Fred Astaire, and Judy Garland.

Class is open to Children age 12 months to 6 years. Activities will be differentiated according to the individual ability of each child.
Dates: Tuesdays July 31, August 7, 14, 21
Timem: 6pm to 6:45pm
Place: Room 302
